01What is the day rate and what does it include?
The day rate is quoted on request, with a reduced rate on engagements of three months or longer and a higher one for short urgent work. That is a standard eight-hour billing day and includes architecture ownership, infrastructure and CI/CD, and a weekly written summary your management can read.
02How fast can you start?
Usually within days. That is the practical advantage of a contract over a permanent hire: no notice period, no headcount approval cycle. Proper B2B invoicing from a registered German Einzelunternehmen.
03Remote or on-site?
Remote-first across the EU, with on-site in NRW when it genuinely helps, typically kickoff, architecture workshops, and anything where a whiteboard beats a call.
04Can a contract become a permanent role?
Yes, and it is a sensible way to do it. Working together for a few weeks tells both sides far more than an interview loop. I am open to senior and architect roles across the EU.
